July 23, 201115 yr I believe the last time the Reds won back to back games was when I started the thread, and I believe they had a winning record that week. So I think I need to be the one who starts it this next week, to get them to actually win back to back games again.

One size does not fit all! He should have never given in to Uggla with the way he had been swinging lately. I would like to think that the bench, (who relies so much on stats), knows that he has been swinging much better lately. He just missed the strike pitch before and fouled it straight back. With first base open why give in to him? I'm sure Uggla was thinking I'm guessing fastball why don't you throw me one. I lay some of the blame on Hanigan if he called the pitch and Massett didn't shake him off. If anything Massett sometimes thinks he can blow people away with 95mph stuff. He's not that good to rely on the fastball all the time.

He's not that good to rely on the fastball all the time. Once again, I have no problem with Masset. Prado has been doing just as well lately and already had 2+ hits last night. Masset clearly missed his spot with that pitch. I don't have a problem with the pitch selection, the execution was just terrible.
