It was a terrible throw into the runner. I know he is not trying to get people hurt but if you listen to Marty and the Cowboy a lot they bring it up just about everytime there is a play where Votto has to make a throw. They both say that his throws are lackadaisical and that he hangs the defender out dangerously a lot of the time.

And I usually agree, like tonight's play. But you can't use that play as an example. Marty and the Cowboy were wrong on that play. Nothing about it was lackadaisical. If he was lacking, he would've just made the play at 1st. A terrible throw doesn't mean he was lackadaisical.

Somebody please tell Bobby Valentine what happened to the Reds after the 76 season. He says that Sparky wore the bullpen out and that's what ended their run at World Championships. Haha!!

I was at the game so I don't know what was said about the Cozart play. I was just saying what they usually say about his throws.

Were your seats down the left field line? If so, why in the heck do they continue to shut lower level corner section down during nationally televised games? Are they sending those people closer to home plate because of the perception of a filled stadium?

I know you may not know and I don't know why it's bothering me so much....

That was another bad throw by Votto. I don't know how Renteria was able to focus on the ball that was coming right into the runner. That was a great play by Edgar to make the catch and get the tag down.

No I'm in the right field terrace behind Jay Bruce. I never noticed but they had 41,000 there so I doubt they would have had to do that.

Red's offense went back to sleep after the 2nd inning.

Did I miss something on Willis ball? It looked to me like a one hop to the first baseman that he fielded in foul territory. Was that a line drive or a ground ball?

I've run that back several times and that was a groundball that was fielded in foul territory and the ump called it fair. That was an awful call. How did he miss that one he was right on the line?

Let's not let Dontrelle run out of gas here and lose this game. Oh oh too late for that. Wild pitch, base hit new game.

Crap... Still some solid innings out of the D-Train.

Looks like this is lining up for Chapman in the 8th against the lefties.

I still can't believe there are so many on here that are so in love with Masset. Put him in in a meaningful situation and he chokes every time.

Sooner than expected with Chapman coming on. Kind of odd that he would use Massett here for one batter. Ondrusek pitched yesterday but only threw 14 pitches. You'd think that he could have faced 1 batter and you could save Massett for the 8th. Maybe he wants Chapman to go 2 innings?
