Wow hes back good to see.

Way too good Breds! I told ya Mayfield the Breds weren't nothing to mess with!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They had each playoff opponent call them out each week well they responded!

Congrats NCC.

No disrespect intended to NCC, but Mayfield must have really been down this year in light of the score!!

They must have been terrible to lose like that in the state championship game.

Congrats to NCC!!

ALL Mayfield fans on here were promising Mayfield would go toe to toe with the Breds. I am not sure what happened. I wasn't there but had a strong feeling the Breds would win.

The City of Newport was 24-4 this year with a state championship. Could have been 2 state titles. Newcath wins state and Newports only losses were to the 1A and 2A state champs. Great year for the breds and the entire city football wise.

Great Win NCC....

I just got home, and started transferring pictures to my PC. If I am still up when they are done I have plenty off great actions shots from this game and I will try and post some of them

Congrats to NCC

Without sparking up a fire fight I hope not... I think NCC could have beaten Russell and challenged LexCath and maybe Trinity.

I was actually DDing tonight!!!!!

This was a shocker. This was not the same Mayfield line that thumped Bardstown. NCC thumped them instead. Pass D also a problem. Well-deserved win, long drive home for Cards and their fans, but a fine, fine season.

I'm a Russell guy and based on what they did with Newport, you may be correct. However, based on what Cov Cath did to them, I would say Lex Cath would be a bit of a stretch and Trinity....well, that just wouldn't happen.

2A yes, but not 3 or 4A.
