How do you get pictures to appear in the post without having to click on them?

Well I was going to post another but the file is to large?????? Look back thru this thread. It's already posted I think. Look back to post #132 in this thread.

How do you get pictures to appear in the post without having to click on them?

If you attach one pic per post, they will appear in the post. If you attach more than one, it will display a link for each.

Thanks for the compliment...I don't think I am alone in the feeling that this year's edition wasn't necessarily a "great" team in the sense most of us think of. I think one of the OC players summed it up best by describing them as relentless (or something to that effect). Even while the Devils kept winning, some of us always felt, "Well, yeah we won, but we could have done this or that much better." Even through the playoffs, it seemed like Russell never really put together a complete game, at least IMO. When you are winning playoff games and still haven't played your best, you just feel like that REALLY good game is still out there for you. I think this past Saturday was the best, most complete game I saw us play this season (and even then, there were some things that could have been done better...not that we're complaining ). No disrespect to any of our previous opponents, that's just my feeling. This years seniors really matured as the season wore on and they became accustomed to the yoke of leadership which had been carried for them the past few years. It was their time to step up, and they...as a group...did just that. Now let's see about next year's seniors and if they can get the same kind of results.

 

Agree w/ goherd. Russell played one of there games best this year at Papa John's on Sat. Yes there was times when something different could have been done. But this is High School sports and these kids are only 14 to 18 yrs old. They are going to make mistakes. But a big plus to this Senior group. Had doubts at the beginning of who would be the leaders. But it seemed that each senior took his role and made the TEAM better by making hisself a better football player and one complimented each other weather positively These Senoir's took the experience from last years leadership and raised the standard one bar higher for next years senior's.

Congrates and thanks to you Seniors for your hard work, relentlessness, dedication to defended the "R"and your leadership. Cheerish this moment in time and always keep that DEVILPRIDE burning deep.

Have been reading all the posts and all the articles in the Ashland Daily and I agree that this was a total team effort. I especially liked the post from Russelldevil78 (I think that was the one) who commented about the scout team. I know for a fact those boys (mostly sophomores, some juniors) really worked their tails off during the week getting the starters ready for each game. A lot of these kids are talented in their own right and are just "waiting for their chance" to shine. I can't wait until next season to see which ones step up to replace our outstanding senior class this year.

 

One other kudo that has been mentioned is the play of #11 Nick Lewis. I have watched this kid play for many years and I for one had total confidence in his ability to step up and play the type of game he had last Saturday. All he needed was the opportunity and when Horn went down, he took the chance and made the most of it on the biggest stage in HS football.

I disagree that the west was much better than the East! There were three solid teams in the east that could have beaten OC! Belfry, Russell, and Newport would have given it all to the west! I also feel as if there may have been three good teams in the West (OC, Ft. Campbell, and Trigg). I have to give the edge to the East!

I agree Russelldad, they all work hard and are all deserving, that's how Russell manages to "reload' every year.

Belfry is a class act. Thanks for all your support to our well deserving players. It was great to see all the fans from the other teams rooting on the Red Devils. They worked very hard for this Championship. You are right next year will be a blast. Although we all need to watch out for Newport.
