Almost always exciting with CoCo. Good win. What's the chances of sweeping with Wood tomorrow?

Another big win. Great game by Cueto once again.

Cordero is Mr. Automatic. :scared: :scared: :scared:

Classic Danny Graves-style save for CoCo.

Glad the Reds won and that CoCo didn't give it up. Even better that the Cardinals and Brewers lost.

I believe pretty good; hoping that it happens.

Stubbs shuts up his bashers tonight.

Stubbs shuts up his bashers tonight.

Stubbs is dealing with the samething Dunn had to deal with, and that is guys only focusing on the strikeouts and ignoring all the other good number he does have. However Stubbs does also play great defense and covers a lot of ground out there in Centerfield. So there is even less to really get on Stubbs about, the only thing is the strikeouts really. I really don't understand the hate people have for Stubbs, especially since he has some of the best number for leadoff hitters.

Plus Stubbs isn't the highest paid field player on the team. I really see no comparison between Stubb's role on the team and what Dunn's was.

So 3.5 games out halfway through June. Nows the time to start replacing guys:rolleyes:

It's 2 1/2 games. Try to keep up. :D

Janish/Renteria? Absolutely. They're giving you absolutely nothing, and their defense hasn't been anything more than average.

I think it's high time Dusty at least gives Heisey a shot out there in LF on an everyday basis.

No one hates Stubbs. He's a pure guess hitter, who has way too big of a swing for a leadoff hitter. It's obvious to everyone that if he would just shorten his swing he'd be unbelievably dangerous. And don't fall into the Stubbs is great defensively trap. He covers a ton of ground because of his speed, but he's anything but a great defensive player. He's good, but no where close to great. He takes awful routes on most flyballs, gets horrible jumps on many others. It largely goes unnoticed because his speed allows him to make up for it.

Not really he has been pretty much lights out this year.

So Cueto is now 4-2 with a 1.69 ERA in 8 starts. He has 4 more scheduled starts before the All-Star break. If he can keep it up, any chance a 7-2 or 8-2 Cueto gets selected with an under 2 ERA?

Agree with Heisey. I don't really know if bringing up a rookie to play short is the answer there. It wasn't too many post ago that some wanted more moves made than that. This team is built around pitching and defense. I say now is not the time to mess around with the roster. jmo
