No one has yet to come up with a logical reason to not give Cozart a shot. He can't do any worse. It's not possible for anyone to do worse than what Renteria and Janish are giving them.

I just don't like him and think that he is a bad manager. I don't think he will ever take this team deep into the playoffs. Other than that I'm okay with him for a couple more years. I don't think this team is ready to win it all yet anyway.

June 15, 201115 yr Gomes is sitting because he sucks. 3 games doesn't change that. That's like saying Cairo getting a start at 1B and having 4 hits, and crying when he's not in the lineup the next day. I don't think that anybody disagrees with your observation of Gomes, he does suck. What I am trying to say is that Dusty rewarded his effort with a stint on the bench because he suddenly decided that he had to get Lewis, (who also sucks), and Heisey some ABs. Reward the hot bat until it cools off. If that's the next game then so be it.

Wouldn't you rather win today without Lewis in the lineup and give Stubbs tomorrow off? They are through their 33 games in 34 days stretch and there will be offdays for the next few weeks and then a big break for the allstar game. Enough said about offdays for 26 year olds who have hit over .300 for the last 2 weeks. There haven't been many guys doing that in this lineup in case you haven't noticed.

June 15, 201115 yr Great win last night. Good to see Cairo come in & get things started in the 8th with the key pinch hit. And as usual, good to see Votto come through when we most need him. VERY GOOD to see Cueto with another strong outing!
