June 19, 201115 yr Here's the fact. They aren't 10 games under.500. All we are hearing from you is ifs and buts. Doesn't fly. Here's a big IF for you. IF this team doesn't start scoring a few more runs than they have been lately they will be 10 games under .500 before you know it. Look at their upcoming schedule and tell me where you see any cupcake teams. 13 of the next 19 up to the All-Star game on the road and 6 at home against the Yankees and Cleveland and in case you forgot the Indians treated them pretty badly in Cleveland a few weeks ago. 3 vs NYY 40-29 3 @ Balt 32-37 3 @ Tbay 39-33 3 vs Clev 39-31 3 @ St Louis 40-33 4 @ Mil 40-33

They've owned the Brewers for the past 2 years. No one is afraid of them on this team. They took 2 of 3 from them when Cincy was playing bad and the Brew Crew was rolling. 2. Baltimore blows. 3. Cleveland has come down to earth since their hot streak at the beginning of the season. 4. There's NO CHANCE they will be 10 games under before we know it. Cincy has had their projected 25 man roster together for about a week this season. They're still only 2 games out with about 90 to play. They'll be fine...
June 19, 201115 yr One other thing that I brought up in the last thread that no one commented on. Why do the Reds need to carry 12 pitchers with the last 2 weeks performances by the starters? Jeremy Horst hasn't pitched since June 7th and Fisher has been used on June 18th, 11th and the 5th. With offdays the next 2 Thursdays and road trips to American league teams wouldn't you think that an extra bat might be nice to have on the bench instead of a security blanket pitcher that hasn't pitched in 13 days?
June 19, 201115 yr 1. They've owned the Brewers for the past 2 years. No one is afraid of them on this team. They took 2 of 3 from them when Cincy was playing bad and the Brew Crew was rolling. Past history means nothing with the Brewers new set of starters 2. Baltimore blows. They will be playing at home and the Reds have a terrible interleague record. 3. Cleveland has come down to earth since their hot streak at the beginning of the season. Citing your past history they still swept the Reds in Cleveland and it is interleague play where the Reds suck. 4. There's NO CHANCE they will be 10 games under before we know it. Cincy has had their projected 25 man roster together for about a week this season. They're still only 2 games out with about 90 to play. They'll be fine... I just hope you are right but they are still a .500 team
