Cairo is a ground ball machine.

SLAM BABY!!!!!!!!!!

We may not pick up any ground. St. Louis up 5-2 over Houston in the top of the 6th. Mets and Brewers - no score top of the 5th.

Was good to see Volquez get a win, he still was pitching behind in the count alot but he fought thru it. Also was great to see the hair gone. The Reds, Gomes especially got the bats going again.

I am not getting too optimistic about the Reds getting back on track just yet. After all, this is a home series vs. a AA farm team, ist it possible to be worse in the field than the Cubs ?

I dig Sean Casey in the booth.

:thumb: He is great.

Eddie pitched one heck of a game tonight....I know it's the Cubs and they suck something awful, but come on guys!

^ It's a step in the right direction at least.

Again, why are Rolen and Renteria not DL'd? This is 5 straight games now with a short bench.

Not to mention Cairo is getting a bit to much work most likely.

About an hour before the first pitch. Not much activity downtown. Just a handful of people waking the Suspension Bridge. What's the big deal. It's only supposed to hit 96 degrees this afternoon.

Poofy haired whiffle ball pitcher getting raped in the 4th.
