Here we go. Sunday night is game 1. Who will the Heat put on Rose and who will the Bulls put on Wade? I am sure Deng gets matched with James. Probably Noah on Bosh but I would think about putting Boozer on Bosh and letting Noah be my help man in the middle.

Who do you like? What are the matchups and who has the edge?

If Miami plays with as much desire as they did against Boston I can't see this going any longer than five or six.

I think Rose will be played mostly by Bibby, Chalmers or whoever until it gets crunch time then I think you may see Wade move over and take that assignment. Or if Rose starts going off I think you will see Wade moving over to take him and let Bibby, Chalmers, or whoever guard Bogans, Brewer, or Korver.

None of the other matchups matter that much IMO. Noah or Boozer it will still be about even matching up with Bosh and whoever else is down low.

I agree. I was not very impressed with the bulls against ATL and if Miami plays like they did against Boston this series wont take too long.

Boozer on Bosch

Noah on James

Bogans on Wade

The Bulls in 7 because they will "beat" on Wade and James with their superior bench, Bosch to soft to make a consistent enugh difference.

For the record, I have really enjoyed the NBA as a whole this year; the playoffs have put it over the top.

I can't see them putting Noah on LeBron. He'll take Bosh, and Deng will check LeBron. No way do I see Noah chasing around LeBron, he's too valuable around the hoop.

Heat in 5 I say.

I agree. Deng is one of the best perimeter defenders in the league with his length. It's going to be him and James matched up the entire series.

After reading your post I agree with you about Deng on James.

I am still going with the Bulls or at least pulling for the Bulls.

:thumb: I'm most interested in seeing what Chicago does against Miami when Brewer is in the game, because statistically he has been the best defensive SG in the league this year. Will he take LeBron and Rose take Wade? He'll probably take Wade and Deng will stay on LeBron. When Miami goes small, Gibson could do a good job on LeBron IMO. Carlos Boozer would get embarrassed I think.

I think for Chicago to win Boozer and Deng have to play well all series, and they need big games from other guys as well. Their big 3, and solid games from 2 other guys should be enough for them to score enough points to win. I'm still taking the Heat in 5. I think LeBron and Wade have a huge monkey off their back and smell blood in the water.

If I am a Miami fan, I would be concerned that beating Boston was such a BIG win and goal for the team this year that they might have exhaled.

I can see that and wouldn't put it past them, especially Bosh. But I think that series will help the Heat, especially LeBron. I didn't think they celebrated too much after beating Boston, its been a four year deal for LBJ. Bosh is constantly criticized for being soft and by beating Garnett some of that has to go away. DWade has played by himself the last 5 years and had no shot of beating a real team in the playoffs. I think its going to allow them to play the best basketball of their lives.

That will never go away. Beating an old and tired Garnett is not an accomplishment. Bosh will always be soft and considered soft. He and Boozer's softness will cancel each other out this series.

Heat in 6 or less. This series is pretty much Rose vs. Wade/LBJ for me. 1 can't beat 2 but if 1 does it will be one of the most exciting series ever.
