I would agree with you all, except for the way drug addicts' actions affect their loved ones.
How has making drugs illegal helped that? Maybe if drugs were easy to get at a safe and affordable outlet then some of those "actions" would be lessened.

"Nut Job" as far as most folks are concerned upon first glance, especially on BGP. "Imminently reasonable" is what they find out after a period of time, a period generally including brief conversation.
I'm sticking with "Nut Job". :D
That's right - Randy, not Ralphie. Us old liberals smoked way too much, well, I'd better not say.:sssh:

Hey...I never exhaled.

Pew has a new typology out along with a short test to see which one you fit: Where Do You Fit? I'm not much of a fan of these tests, especially when there are only two options for each question, but it's probably the best one I've seen.

I took this test and came back "Post-Modern."

Hey...I never exhaled.

Me either. I guess that's a big part of the problem.

That's where I fall. I don't belong to any party any longer. My views depend on the issue otherwise. I'm probably most critical of social conservatives or hardcore ideologues.
That fits me, too, for the most part, but you would never know it by some of the opinions rendered by others here.

I am apparently a New Coalition Democrat.

Do you think they are describing legal or illegal immigrants in that description?

Do you think they are describing legal or illegal immigrants in that description?

Not sure. As for myself, I don't generally think of the legality of an immigrant when meeting them. I know tons of immigrants and couldn't tell you whether they're legal or illegal. But, they're all really great people that I enjoy being around, working with, and that I learn a LOT from.

***bows*** thank you! :D

So, as an aside...I just got back from a short break here at work. Went to sit in the sunshine for a moment. I happened to be seated with Oma, from Burmah; Pieter, from Hugary; Jesus from Mexico and Derrick from Jamaica ohhh...and a new guy from Puerto Rico...don't know his name yet. Anyway....thought it was a really cool moment...I work with all of them, and it just was sort of ironic.

I'm more of a less government, more freedom type of guy... You would think any idiot elected, Dem or GOP, could do a few simple things like balance a budget, secure a future for our children, and provide us with a strong military.. But here we are, supposedly the strongest country on earth, and our leaders can't keep us out of debt or even secure our own borders.... Just honor the Constitution and stay the heck out of everyone's life... Sounds simple doesn't it..

I'm with you.....I'm also a Very Conservative Fiscally and Right to Moderate Socially.
