Here is one that most people can't stomach. I'm for the legalization of ALL drugs. If you want to shoot up heroin and cause no harm to others, then by all means go for it. If after an evening meal your favorite way to wind down is to hit the 'ol crack pipe...well you go for it big boy.

^I think you and I are very much alike with our political beliefs. :thumb:

My basic mantras are "Survival of the Fittest & Personal Responsibility".

See? I'm right there with you. If somebody wants to run their life into the gutter, as long as they don't try and drag me down along the way, more power to them. And don't ask me to pull them out of their own mess, either.

Makes three of us.

It actually makes 5 of us.

Six.

Pew has a new typology out along with a short test to see which one you fit: Where Do You Fit? I'm not much of a fan of these tests, especially when there are only two options for each question, but it's probably the best one I've seen.

This may come as a shock to the P&R regulars, but Pew pegs me as a "solid liberal".

No surprise. Came back as a Libertarian.
I would agree with you all, except for the way drug addicts' actions affect their loved ones.

It's going to affect them if drugs are legal or not. The legalization of drugs is not the promotion of drug use. It is a practical way to operate the government, IMO. Programs for drug abuse shouldn't quit just because they become legal. Much like alcohol which is legal.

I came back as a Solid Liberal. That is absolutely correct after reading about all of the different affiliations. I identify with them the most for sure.:thumb:

As did I. Great minds think alike.

Mine too, shocker....

Also a shock, I'm a "staunch conservative." Hard to believe, considering I'm a kid who's fond of admiring my old man's major award...

Although we seem to fall on oposite sides of the spectrum (14% are solid liberals; 9% are staunch conservatives), I have nothing but the highest regard for someone who beat the snot out of Scut Farkas...

That was my brother, but I get the drift! :thumb::lol: I picked up his glasses & went to get Mom when that whole ordeal went down. :D

That's right - Randy, not Ralphie. Us old liberals smoked way too much, well, I'd better not say.:sssh:

"Nut Job" as far as most folks are concerned upon first glance, especially on BGP. "Imminently reasonable" is what they find out after a period of time, a period generally including brief conversation.
