6' 2" 210lbs

Sorry, I like to have my facts straight before I post (others should try it), but I have to correct this one now that I know I was wrong.

He is 6'1 and a half and 208lbs.

That's a big gain in a short period. Is it muscle? If he picked up 23 pounds in the off season, how has it affected his speed and strength?

Don't know, weighted shoes perhaps.

I don't think 23lbs in a year is a big deal, but I'm just the messeger. I'm out of this loop...it's ran it's course.

Hold on Crunch before you leave, if your comment was directed at my post then maybe you should read it again, "LAST SEASON'S ROSTER". Unless you or someone on the team tells you his weight that is all I have to go by until the new roster comes out. If this was not directed at me then my apoligies. BTW your right, this thread has ran it's course.

TP...I have never lied to you, but I will ask that you not be condescending nor patronizing.

Hi pot, meet kettle. Your overblown comments about Mayfield last year was about as condescending and old as it gets. Please don't say what you said last year was fact and you meant it, because you've proven a few times since that it wasn't. Maybe this person actually believes it, too, before you blast.

Vocke is getting d1 looks as is both Nussbaums. Joey for kicking. Max has some schools interested as well.

Be careful! I said looks and visits as well, but people tend to equate that to offers.

I'm on the same page with TP and a couple of other true MF fans that I have much respect for, which is what matters. This has been over for several days so let it go!

Let's bring this back to the top. I like talking Beechwood football.

I was talking to one of the fathers of one of the boys last night at Kroger and he said that he estimates that the O-line will weigh in somewhere around the 250 avg. size. Very exciting!

That isn't bad for A football. Center and left tackle around 270 and the others in the 240-245 range.

I think my fat butt could gain 100 yards behind a line like that.

They will be strong and quick to mention it. JD

Would hate to be the poor sap that has to feed'em :D Bw's line play has not been as good lately so this is good news for the Bw faithful

I love these kids on this team. I really do. I have a hard time believing that Cameron would be able to play in the Big East. He is what, 5'8" 150lbs?

Every year there are all these kids from N. Ky that are going D1 and when the dust settles, there is only a handful that can play at that level.

Let me be clear. I am not critizing any of the kids. It's just that so many fans think the kids on 'their' team are going D1 and it is harder than many reailize. I'm just saying........

Couldn't agree more with the bolded. I hope the fans and parents on here really take heed to this. As successful as Beechwood has been and as many really good high school football players as they have had, how many have gone D-I? And that's no knock on Beechwood, as I could have said the same thing about NCC.

I think people throw the term D-I without really knowing how hard it is to approach that level. I know I hear it quite often, even from some coaches in the area, and I see it very rarely.

That said, Beechwood will be very good in 2011. Top tier in NKY and in their class.

Well ... they have 3 playing D1 right now ... with another to add in this fall.

At the end of the day ... Beechwood has had more than their share of D1 players.
