You would THINK the kid would learn, however, information that I have read on BGP, this past season he was ejected from his last game for fighting and will be suspended for the opening game next season against New Cath, he was benched by his coach on another occasion for behavior, who knows how many unsportsmanlike penalty's and technical fouls he got this year in basketball. What more will it take before he actually learns?? I hope nothing else more happens that may jeopardize his future. The kid has the opportunity of a lifetime and an opportunity that millions of kids across the country will not get to experience, ever!. I hope that he does eventually learn something from ALL his mistakes so that his gift and this opportunity does not go to waste.

 

GEEEZ! As much as I agree with some about Pike's attitude and the need to mature a little, HE IS A KID who will make lots of mistakes. I don't think Pittman from Holmes got this much scrutiny. I also think if this kid's last name was not "Pike", this thread would have been forgotten a long time ago.

Famous family's (people ) are under the microscope a little more than your average family , that's just the way it is.

I agree with you here, and unfortunately Zeke has been displaying this behavior for quite a few years now.

GT, I generally agree with you 80% of the time, however other than the fact of "jail", I think it 's a decent comparison with regards to actions on the field or court. I've witnessed very similar behavior by so called stars when my son was playing high school football and none of it made it to the BGP site.

If the Facebook chatter/hype is any indication, I would expect ESPN U to cover it live. After all, Pike has been rated a 5 Star QB, meaning he's one of the most sought after QBs in his class.
