Gee also said he had not considered dismissing the Buckeyes coach.

Papa's best guess - the suspension is increased by the NCAA to the first 4 games of the conference schedule (half - see Bruce Pearl) or the first 5 games of the season (see OSU players).

All I can say is if Tress ends up gettin suspended more games, Miami had better beat them. Losing at home to OSU with 5 of their best players, including their QB and their HC out would be embarrassing.

Funniest line I have heard so far came from Colin C. "Ok Ohio State fan quit acting like University of Kentucky basketball fans ." This was in reference to a caller trying to make excuses such as everybody cheats Ohio State just got caught. For a nationally syndicated radio show he tends to rip this area pretty good.

Hahaha! I knew I was stating the obvious, but wanted to point it out only partly because of Knight; but also because of the network that gives him the platform to spout off his nonsense.

I think the recent incident with Jones from Baylor (suspended for the rest of the season) is an example of my "beef" with the NCAA. The Buckeye players did the same thing but were allowed to finish their current season. I wonder if the NCAA would have ruled the way they did if they had known that Tressel was aware of the events?

 

Yeah, the NCAA would have still let them play because MONEY talks.

:lol: O.K., Yes, I believe that it is true. I just have a hard time with Tressel doing that. I realize that he may have wanted to protect a player/players but info like that e-mail needs to be passed on wether he thought the guy had an ax to grind, had bad info, was untrue, didn't want to or whatever........... National Media is really blasting the president/AD. Some comparing it to the IU thing with Coach Samson for Basketball. Quotes on Mike & Mike, "The head Coach covering up this issue since April, and not holding out players for their Bowl game? Its all about winning and not being fail?

Since 2006 NCAA has santioned 27 schools by violating bylaw 10.1. This law requires Coaches and others to be truthfull and forthcoming about possible NCAA violations.

Of the 12 coaches involved only 1 has kept his job. The oher 11 were either fired or resigned..
