I believe King Kelly Coleman got to 1K points when he was also 15 in his sophomore year. Just don't know when he got there as it relates to his birthday. Would be nice if there was a website that housed all of these records with dates.

I think if Hatton continues on this path of success and stays healthy he will have a good chance of breaking the record in NKY, but not the state record.

He'll get to 2500 pts. which is a boat load.

Not sure what Dixie has coming back at the PG position so will Hatton have to move to PG next year? Playing PG changes the dynamic of your ability to score especially if you are playing on a good team with other scoring options.

I was assuming that he had to have scored some points prior to being a freshmen. Otherwise, I can't see saying a guy who scored a 1000 points as a freshman couldn't reach 4300.

He is very likely to pass the pace of Coleman but the amazing thing is that he scored 1,919 points in his senior year alone. Coleman only had 2344 points going into his senior year which Hatton could have in 60 more games at 22.4 per game to catch Coleman's pace. Then he just has to average 46.8 for 41 games in his senior year like Coleman did.

That is a very good point, and if he didn't I wouldn't blame him, that kid is good. However, if he does stay in KY all through high school I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him score over 3000 assuming he stays healthy as mentioned before.
