Really? New Cath by 7 (With Cohorn out0, SK with a last minute drive to win by I believe 3, Ryle was shut out in the second half and Dixie almost pulled that one off on the last drive. Cov Cath by less than a touchdown ( without Pike much of the second half with the shoulder injury ) I give hats off to SK and the way Chad played in the Dixie game. Especially the last drive to win that game. But let's not forget one thing about that drive. If Cohorn doesn't get called for a late hit on the SK reciever on fourth down, Dixie wins that game.

 

Lose by 1 point or 50 points its still a loss and Dixie had a bunch of them last year plus their defense is not that good, they lost some O-linemen and they have no depth to many players playing both ways.

To which rulings are you referring to? Seems like people are always accusing some of the better schools of violations but can never back it up with facts.

Last I heard, Peterson and his family were trying to figure things out.

 

From what I heard from those close to him though, he won't be at Holmes next year. At this point, only time will tell.

You're right. Sometimes stupidity just sucks you in and you feel you need to respond to it.

From what I have gathered peterson will struggle to play anywhere he goes due to academics. Hears to hoping everything works out for him and his family so he can continue his career and work towards his goal of being a d1 player!

Grow what I understand no he is not.

If the kid isn't showing up for school, be it at Holmes, Dixie, or anywhere else, he's going to flunk and lose next year period. Just from reading this thread, seems like it's going on four weeks the kid hasn't gone to school.

The state has stepped in and is taking control of the issue.

It will take a lot for Peterson to play anywhere next year... But if he does, it will be at Holmes from what I'm hearing.

Sad situation to say the least, as the kid is certainly talented.

 

Can anyone shed some light on what exactly happened to prompt this whole thing? January is a weird time to start skipping school and talk about transferring.

 

Was it the departure of Lickert? Was it basketball related?

 

The timing just makes me think something triggered such drastic action by his family.

Just my opinion. This thread should be closed. I don't think there is any place for this kid's personal life to be discussed on a public forum. Life is complicated and people go through tough times, let this child and his family figure it out in private.
