Now that's funny right there!!!

I am not going to speculate on anything here but I hope Peterson's family and the administration at Dixie pay close attention to the rules on this. Bottom line, to be eligible next year Peterson needs to move to the Dixie district, make sure this move is not seen as being for sports reasons and he must appeal to the KHSAA for eligibility. He is automatically ineligible until the KHSAA looks at his appeal and approves the move as legitimate.

I was under the impression that if the family physically moves the child would not have to sit! So if the family has to prove its not for sports what would be a legit reason...( Nicer living area, better academics, change guardianship, job transfer) I dont know , just curious.

The change of address is one of the reasons the state CAN grant the waiver. However, there are other provisions that could trump that.

I don't think Pike was on his back when the Birds played at Dixie this past year

You guys are smoking the drapes. Highlands re-loads every year and they have studs returning as well. Dixie will have some skilled players but if Pike is on his back its a little tough to throw down field.

This kid sounds like he is a stud!

One question, why Dixie and not somewhere like Ryle or Highlands.

I watched the Dixie/HHS playoff game and can remember #14 being sacked numerous times. #14 is Pike right?

Correct he was running for his life and watching the loss from the sidelines at the end of that one.

This situation sounds kind of familiar.

I was thinking the exact same thing.:lol:

... or maybe Beechwood :D

Why not?

Why not? Hmmmmmm lets see. State rings, playing in the finals, etc.

That's right. Drop to 4A for a few years, then maybe to 3A for a few. Whatever it takes.

Yeah, if I'm a wr I would not go to Ryle. Not to mention that last year was the first time they finished first in their district and got a 1 seed, ever.

On a serious note here. Who is Ryle's QB this year?
