February 7, 201115 yr Author GT, so it's fair to say that you feel this kid has more upside than Singler? Should be a great one. More upside than Singler at the same stage of their career, yes. And that's from someone that was very high on Singler as RP can attest to. Singler has put in a ton of work to improve his game while at Duke and it will be up to Murphy to do the same...
February 7, 201115 yr Was hoping he would hold out and consider coming to Lexington though, I could really see him working out in the DDM.
February 7, 201115 yr Now you gotta think teammate Kaleb Tarczewski might be leaning towards Duke also. Many believed they could end up as package deal. 2 huge losses for UK if that happens.

February 8, 201115 yr Depends on who they get in that class, could be but not neccessarily true. I agree.
February 8, 201115 yr Depends on who they get in that class, could be but not neccessarily true. From what I've heard and read, UK wanted Murphy and recruited him hard; but never felt overly confident that they'd land him. I think they're most confident with Ledo, Goodwin, & Shabazz.
