Green Bay 31 Pittsburgh 25

Always good to see the Steelers lose, the Super Bowl just makes it that much more special! Sorry, JS, nothing personal.

You know, there was the usual amount of shoving and such but I don't remember when I've seen two teams with such obvious respect for each other. Both of those teams are class acts top to bottom.

Great post 75center :thumb::thumb:

Both Green Bay and Pittsburgh set the standard for class and respect in the NFL. No other organiation even close. There wasn't any trash talking in the weeks prior to this game in pressers or by any other means.

Ben has two rings, let someone else wear one. Congrats to the Packers and the Steelers too.

Green Bay fought all season through 15 players on IR, 6 or 7 starters and Woodson plus two others go out tonight. How Mike McCarthy didn't win the C.O.Y. award is beyond me. I guess they thought they had to give the Pats something .

Also, this is for the most part a young Green Bay Packer team. I don't think that we have seen the last of Super Bowl appearances and championships from this Packer team.

Can't say enough about Aaron Rodgers and the season he has had and how he has handled things with nothing but class during the last three years.

There has been a sudden jump in the number of Green Bay fans in the area...

It was a great game. I am a big fan of either team but was pulling for the packers.

Should Pittsburgh had been playing any other team I would had been pulling for the Steelers.

:lol:Not here.

Ben made some bad decisions in the first half. Can't donate it 3 times and win. Rodgers played well under pressure. And although it may have been a moot point, I was screaming at the TV not to attempt the 52 yd FG. I thought that was the only decision I disagreed with.

A couple of quick stats......

A.Rodgers 24-39, 304yds, 3td's

Starks 11 carries, 53yds

Nelson 9 receptions, 140yds, 1td

Aaron Rodgers is really really good. Packers with 15 guys on IR. Amazing job of patching holes in their lineup.

So for those of you who haven't heard the song, google or youtube Green and Yellow by Lil Wayne. You don't have to like his music or even him as an artist but the lyrics are pretty solid and it's even more fitting now that GB won the super bowl.

Should I assume this is in response to "Black and Yellow?"

Glad to see the Packers pull it out. I don't know how anybody can't be a fan of Rodgers. He grew on me this postseason.

Yes. Same beat just different lyrics. Good song.

Congrats GB, Rodgers is elite and has been for a few years. He can take a game over. Steelers looked flat, came out better in the second half. Polamalu didn't do anything all night wonder if the injuries were there.
