NFL should get rid of the Pro Bowl!!!

It's just a mess and none of the players really care. Heard one guy on ESPN even suggest they just have a banquet for the players and some fans.

I agree, somehow it had huge rating last year I believe. I don't know how anyone could watch that awful game.

The worst all-star type game of the major pro-sports. I think the best has to be the MLB all-star game.

Why they have it in Hawaii I'll never know, last year it was at the SB site and did a little better but it's still dumb. There is no marketing, advertising, build up, or anything to make people want to watch it. It's pretty pathetic that an all-star game could be so terrible.

Miles Austin was asked on a talk show about it and said he didn't even really want to go.

Cant recall the last time that I watched any of the pro bowl.

I watched a Pro Bowl 30 years ago. Was the most boring thing I've ever seen. Haven't watched one since.

That is bologna. He was asked to be a reserve last Friday and jumped at the opportunity. It is a choice to go.

The Pro Bowl is terrible. I am confused how it does well in ratings compared to other sports.

I like the idea of having an awards ceremony, like college football does before the bowl games get rolling.

I forget where I heard that but it was on some talk show I believe. I didn't hear it (From Austin) and haven't seen a link for it so you might be right.

What was up with the play where the the Center scored?

Football is just not the type of game that translates in the all star setting. Its a game meant to be played at full speed, putting it in an all star setting is just doing the game a total injustice IMO.

I think they just need to have like a skills competition with the players, for the people who are pro bowlers. That would be more exciting than watching the game.

I will add that an All Star football game at the pro level is not that type. When health equates to future earnings, it makes for a bad watch.

Miles Austin is lucky he was even asked to attend.

I can't remember at all either. I'd rather watch them do skills competitions.
