January 8, 201214 yr A bunch of reports out there that UK is now after 2012 GA center Tony Parker. He plays against 2013 #1 Jabari Parker on ESPN2 tonight at 8. Should be a good game... Parker has certainly helped his stock this high school season perhaps as much as any top 25 recruit but with Cauley already on board is it possible that Calipari is courting Parker more for Muhammad or just because he really wants to go get him? I know Anderson has been working Parker and Bazz over hard to come to UCLA and K and Duke have to be in good position with Parker as well. Is Cal going after him because he thinks it may help him get Bazz or is he going after him wanting another big for next season?
January 10, 201214 yr Just heard that Matt Jones reported his sources saying both Shabazz and Bennett to UK for next year.

January 10, 201214 yr Just heard that Matt Jones reported his sources saying both Shabazz and Bennett to UK for next year. When GT says it I'll be more confident. I like Matt Jones, but he's not the most trustworthy source when it comes to recruiting.
January 10, 201214 yr Author Really? NextCats Ben Roberts Shabazz Muhammad's dad tells ZagsBlog: "Getting players like Khem Birch only strengthens UNLV in the eyes of Shabazz." Guy that really seems to be in the "know" with UK that I follow on Twitter said to take those with a grain of salt. He's going to be flattering when asked questions about it, but for the most part Bazz's pops was just being nice. FWIW, he's been saying Bazz to UK for quite a while now.
