January 26, 201115 yr Still only rain in Pikeville, but it's been coming down good all morning. With this much moisture in the air, when the transition takes place it's going to lay down a lot of snow and fast.

January 26, 201115 yr It's rained all night, and at times heavy rain, in Owsley County. About 2 hours ago it changed to a mix and now it's snowing at a heavy rate. Not much accumulation yet though. If all the rain we had last night had been snow we would probably have 6 inches on the ground but it didn't turn to snow as fast as was once thought.

January 26, 201115 yr Right at 2 inches here in Frankfort. Wet, heavy snow. Roads were rough early this am, but just messy now. Bring on Spring.
