With the move away from solely CBS to CBS, TNT, TBS, and TruTV I can't say it surprises me that Turner would want to use some of their announcers. I don't like it, but it's no shock.

I'm with most of you guys. I like Jay Bilas and not a fan of Reggie Miller by any means.

I do not think Marv is all that bad. Most are accustomed to him doing NBA, but he spreads his talent on radio broadcasts a lot of us never hear. Reggie Miller, yes he is terrible. I also agree with Clark Kellog. How he has become the main color analysts for CBS is beyond me. Hate not having Jay Bilas. Glad Kerr got the axe because he is solid at his job. I wish Doug Collins had not been hired by the 76ers, he was probably my favorite NBA analyst.

I'm guessing Nantz's ego won't let that happen anytime soon. Don't know how much pull or influence he has, but your question is also mine concerning Gus. I've said a million times over that I'd watch a grass-growing contest on TV if Gus were calling it.

I'm a UK fan and I think Bilas is one of the best. BTW, most of my friends feel the same way.

While a good chunk of UK fans are whacky, I am not seeing this anti Jay Bilas crowd you have found. Most on here are complimentary of the guy.

Jay Bilas is one of my favorites. In fact, I forget that he went to Duke until someone on here brings it up...

I personally like Jay Bilas. He is a very good commentator and actually knows what he's talking about...

That's definitely interesting. "Inside the NBA" on TNT is far and away the best sports studio show on TV right now and any chance for Ernie, Charles and Kenny to make an appearance is a positive thing.

Bilas is probably my favorite analyst. I think CBS dropped the ball on these changes. I'm not a big fan of Reggie Miller either.
