Very bad game for UK; I definitely thought this would be a better game than it was.

This one came out about like I figured, when just a 6 win team that shouldn't have been in any bowl and can't play run defense then imo no one should expect a win. I agree a post above in that at least it is over, now let's get ready for UK Basketball.

As for losing faith in Joker, I a not yet anyway. I made that early mistake on Brooks so I am not going to slam Joker.

I really don't think that UK players wanted to be in this one, they certainly played like they didn't want to be there. Just another reason why there are too many bowl games and 6 win losing record Yes, if you're not over .500 you're not a winner imo. ,500/ties are "kissing you're sister". These teams shouldn't be in a bowl in the first place, that is laughable, jmo.

The Hartline thing was huge. A Bama guy said he spoke with several players last nite and he said the Cats are focused, eating and hanging out with each other while the Pitt guys were saying "hey, we have no one to watch us, so drink up. He posted this before the game. The coaching situation at Pitt was terrible, but yet...

I couldn't be more unimpressed with the play of Newton, he lack's enthusiasm, vision, urgency and knowledge...

Big East finishes 4-2 in bowls. Winners: Louisville, Syracuse USF and Pitt. Losers: WVA and UConn.

 

I don't put much stock in bowl results. However, I have had questions about Joker since mid-season. His players simply don't seem to want to be playing football. It seems it is a chore to play rather than something fun to be enjoyed. Hope I'm wrong. Again, I'm not basing this assessment on the bowl game----which was, by the way, a supremely terrible effort by UK's lines. How many drops did Cobb have? Thought Locke played hard and fast.

First let me say I thought Joker made the right choice in hiring a new DC. But I don't like the idead of the change during the bowl game. They looked out of place and confused. Steve Brown looked like he didn't care, not sure if I don't blame him.

 

Also why didn't the other QB get in snaps. I willing to bet he transfers.
