September 9, 201115 yr Okay, so I went to visit my Dad in PA over Labor Day weekend and asked him about Yuengling. He said he didn't see the fuss. I told him I have never had it and I am going to take some home. I bought a 12 pack and had 3 watching Sons of Anarchy and 3 more last night during the Packers/Saints. Man....I love that beer. I am holding on to my last 6 and saving them for a special occasion so I can drink them all in one night. I'll be picking up a case or two every time I am in Tennessee now. Has it hit Ohio yet? If not, any word when it will? I am sure I would drink it exclusively if I could get it regularly. Welcome to the club PP92!

But nonetheless, it's a good beer and it would be very nice to have it as a domestic option like they do in TN.

September 11, 201115 yr It's a good beer, but maybe a little overhyped due to scarcity. Funny, but where I am it's plentiful and just as popular. On the east coast one of the things that makes Yuengling stand out for me is that you can get it on tap everywhere for the same price (or less) as the regular domestic light beers. You can get a high quality craft beer about anywhere, but you're going to pay for it. Since Yuengling is the same price as Bud Light, it sort of makes the latter option more worthless than it already is. In other words, it's hard to beat even when it's readily available. What he said.

My roommate sent me a picture of one the other day and I might have had an explexitive come out of my mouth at work, luckily I have an office and not a cubicle haha! Then I saw one on Wednesday going on Columbia Parkway over to I-75 S. Definitely looking forward to this beer and drinking it whenever I want!
