I sleep good every night but thanks for your well wishes. My sleep is not based on football games and I will sleep really well next Friday night and the night after. I just threw back some of the garbage from the voices of SK that we have read all year. SK dominated Ryle last year. Ryle dominated SK in game #2 this year. Big deal. Our goal is not to beat SK. We'd be pretty happy if that was the case since we are 10-3 vs. SK since the turn of the century. And, Ryle administration would act QUICKLY to remove such classless T-shirts from school property.

I know but first he'd have to get a court order for Guru to release my identity and seeing as how I haven't said his name it would be hard to convince a judge to do so on such frivolous grounds.

What a disgrace to the SK community. To the people that said it's funny. Shame on you. It's high school. Common theme on where most shirts of this nature are seen is at college and pro events. That's free enterprise for some idiots making a buck on a lot of drunken fools. On the high school level, absolutely no need for it. Wonder what the spokesman for Independence had to say about it Sat. am?

How about the full story: The game manager for Ryle politely asked the SK students to move over to their side. The students did not budge. So, a Ryle coach told them to either move right now or the police would be called to move them - nothing said about arresting anyone. The students had their chance to be treated with respect and lost that right since they did not respect and listen to authority. (You should have seen the SK locker room after the game if you want to talk more about SK. I would rather focus on a much more formidable and respectful opponent - T). Good day.

I guess not. I am glad SK plays Ryle at SK next year Ryle's stadium is a dump maybe I am just spoiled with the nice people and the nice stadium at SK!

Now if it were just some SK fans then happened to be sitting near the Ryle fans I'm sure nothing would have happened. But when students go over and sit near the other schools students they are almost always trying to start something. I don't blame the Ryle parents at all for telling th SK students to move, I would have done the same. Why chance having the students start a fight? Also, Ryle has a nice stadium.

I think this thread has pretty much run the course.

Many on here are taking what a few kids did and making a mountain out of a molehill.

SK/Ryle has turned into a nice little rivalry, and Ryle has the bragging rights. I know there seems to be a certain poster or two that gets everyone going, but you can simply choose to ignore that person. One person or a couple of students actions does not represent the majority. I think you could possibly go to any game that has a lot on the line and you will find a few things that students do that makes you scratch your head. Does that dismiss what these kids did as being proper? No, but I think that it should not be blown up to the extent of what this thread has become.

A few thoughts from afar:

SS you mentioned that Ryle administration would act QUICKLY to remove such classless t-shirts from school property. Well, it was their home game and they are in charge of supervision, so essentially it was there job to do as such, if necessary. If they didn't that is on their administration.

From all I have heard, no one was removed from the game, fan wise.

I would think that both administrations probably worked together during the week to ensure some sort of order with the game, considering everything that was going on at the Ryle Campus, aside from the game itself.

If I understood correctly, there was some Independence officers in attendance to help assist with the crowd control and so forth.

People posting here and fanning the flames is not helping much to promote what could become a healthy rivalry.

We have to remember that these are kids we are dealing with and many times what a few of them do, makes us scratch our heads but we were all young once.

I'm not simply dismissing this, but this is being made out to be a bigger issue than it ought to be.

I look forward to a fun and prosperous rivalry between these two schools.

If they would have removed all the SK fans sitting in the Ryle section, they needed to remove all the Ryle supports standing on the sidelines.

I agree kids will be kids and a lot of us would have tried similar antics to disrupt the other team when we were young. However, I know my parents would have laid the smack down on the shirts and having it on my car. I am pretty sure I would have lost my vehicle for a little while. It's sadly becoming more common for parents to not teach their children any better, but the fact the administration allowed this is baffling to me. Kids have to be held accountable in order to mature.
