Auburn and Oregon are inter-changable at the top 2, IMO.

After that, I think I'd have Boise ahead of TCU.

Will be interesting to see how things play out if the top 4 teams stay undefeated.

November 26 will be a day to mark on the calendar. Bama/Auburn and Boise/Nevada quite possibly will decide who makes the title game.

Looks like the AP high school polls, where half or more of the voters slot teams based on the number of losses ...

It's embarassing that Nevada is by far Boise's second toughest game. They're not very good.

Here is how each team's opponents have faired out so you can see how their schedules compare to one another:

Auburn - 65-47

Oregon - 41-58

Boise - 38-52

TCU - 50-50

I have to disagree with you on this. Embarrassiing?? No way. Nevada is a top 20 football team, I don't know about you but #18 to me out of 119 thats far from not very good.

Boise is as good of football team as there is in the country. C.Peterson is one of if not the best football coach in the country. K. Moore is a Heisman quality qb, his stats are unbelievable. Avery is a top RB that can run over or around people, both very sucsessful. Young and Pettis are both great WR. Both "O" and "D" lines are solid and the Boise defense is a great one.

Do I believe that should they run the table Boise will be in the NC game? No, just bc I don't believe the BCS will have the "Kahunas" to put them there. Before anyone says the computer rankings figure in, I realize that but a computer is only as good as the people putting the info/setting up programs, formulas in. BTW, Oregon's schedule is not all that great either. All I know is to actually watch Boise play. Boise can flat out play fooball and could very well beat anyone on a one game, neutral field scenerio. The power conferences just don't want to admit it or play them.

These next couple of weeks will tell alot. Bama and Auburn will play and jmo Bama will win that one. Should that happen then we will see what the rankings are. i would bet that the BCS commitie will be huge Auburn fans on the 26th,if Bama wins they might upchuck their turkey :D.

I respect everyones opinion on here, just do not agree with some of them. :thumb:

You could have made the same arguement about Utah, they were a top 20 football team, at least until they got dominated by my awful Irish. Lets face it there are easily 20 better teams in the country than Nevada. They haven't played anybody. Their opponets to date are currently 45-55.

Not that last year really matters but let's not forget that Nevada was beaten 35-0 by another awful Notre Dame team. Put Nevada in the Pac-10, Big 12, etc. and nobody would be talking about them.

Yeah, and Utah was #5 just two weeks ago, and we've seen how that's turned out.

Top 4 should stay undefeated, which leaves Boise and TCU on the outside looking in. I hope they then get to play each other which guarantees 2 undefeated teams. If TCU & Boise both play other opponents and get beaten, then that puts a college football playoff another 5 years further down the road.

Incidentally, even if there were a playoff of the top 16 teams, look at the first few that would be left out.

I could have said or have been saying the same about Utah but I didn't did I.

My post was about Boise State. Utah is not even in the same category as a Boise or TCU this season. I actually watched Utah play and could tell that.

Again, I watched them play :D. There is a factor called the "eyeball" factor, or actually watching the tean play and not just highlights that should figure in somewhere. Football, the last I noticed was actually played on a Football field, not on a computer. Who Knew!!

Should Boise get beat then I will have my serving of crow. Just not now. I am not a big Boise fan or on their bandwagon all of a sudden. I just think they have been getting hosed.

Should we get a "plus one" game/playoff things like this would be taken care of.

You think you're the only one to watch any of these teams play? I've watched Boise play about 5 times this season, and have not been at all impressed. Good football team? Absolutely. Top 5 football team? No chance. It's called the "eyeball" factor.

The BCS standings should look like this:

1) Oregon

2) Auburn

3) LSU

4) Wisconsin

5) Nebraska

6) Stanford

7) TCU

8) Boise State

Auburn will have two losses before the season is over..............

You've watched different LSU, Nebraska and Stanford teams than I have seen.
