November 15, 201015 yr Top 4 should stay undefeated, which leaves Boise and TCU on the outside looking in. I hope they then get to play each other which guarantees 2 undefeated teams. If TCU & Boise both play other opponents and get beaten, then that puts a college football playoff another 5 years further down the road. Incidentally, even if there were a playoff of the top 16 teams, look at the first few that would be left out. I'm not giving Auburn the win over Bama on the road as an automatic. As up and down as Soouth Carolina has been Auburn playing Bama and South Carolina still is tougher than any two opponents any other unbeaten have played all year. Boise and TCU aren't good enough to play Auburn's schedule.
November 15, 201015 yr You've watched different LSU, Nebraska and Stanford teams then I have seen. Possibly, but neither TCU or Boise have the depth to play LSU's schedule and only lose by one score to Auburn.

Those two teams play the schedules that those 3 teams do and no chance they're undefeated, heck I doubt they only have one loss with those schedules.

I am one of those people clamoring for a playoff....and in the current system rooting for Boise and TCU to run the table to show what a fraud this current system is. To me it would kill two birds with one stone to have one of these "lesser teams" win it all. I prefer Boise, but that is just me....

If they win then there will be wailing and nashing of teeth from the big money conferences about schedules, etc...just like on here and they will feel like they got jobbed.....

While it makes for a cute, fuzzy story to see these mid-majors playing, the viewership would stink. Bama, USC, tOSU, etc. move television numbers. Not the Horned Frogs. Worst case scenario is TCU/Bois St. vs. Oregon.

I like Oregon well enough, but they aren't one of those teams I'd make sure I was able to watch for.

These mid-major success stories are only as good (or popular) as the teams they are playing. People watched because they were playing Duke. Had it been Butler/Weber State, nobody would have cared.

Good football team? Absolutely. Top 5 football team? No chance. It's called the "eyeball" factor. :lol: The BCS standings should look like this: 1) Oregon 2) Auburn 3) LSU 4) Wisconsin 5) Nebraska 6) Stanford 7) TCU 8) Boise State And that is called your opinion, thats fine. Like I said, I just don't agree and my opinion is that thee is no way there are 7 teams that should be ranked ahead of Boise and that is my opinion.:lol: Neither yours or my opinion is the "way it should read", is our opinions.
