Can any 1-a team even stay with this Beechwood team?

Man..... Mayfield fans love to hold long accounts on things.

First all the vinegar when Guru made the thread about the Hazard team who won the State Title, now going back to 2010 for this thread?

What's next... newspaper clipping from the 1990's about something Pikeville's Hilliard Howard said?

LCA is not 1A anymore, Frankfort can not compete with Beechwood this year they have too many key players out for the year, Frankfort will be lucky to make it past the second round.

OK, so much for being creditable.

Beechwood fans - don't take the bait. You have nothing, I repeat, nothing to brag about when it comes to Mayfield. Wins over Cov Cath or anyone else don't change that. You have to earn that on the football field in November. Give Mayfield all the respect they have earned in their wins over Beechwood from the Mike Yeagle teams forward. Work hard every day to get to them on the field and then seize the opportunity when you meet them.

So, here goes, all you Beechwood fans enjoy your success now, when we come to town the party's over, you will be LUSTERFIED!

There, how's that?

Beechwood is improving like a good team should this time of the year. Take this in to consideration, Cov Cath beat Dixie pretty easy and Dixie Beat Beechwood fairly easy and then Beechwood handles Cov Cath.. Nothing but confusing to me at this moment. But what I gather is Beechwood and Dixie has improved while Cov Cath has tapered off and lost confidence.. But back to Beechwood because they are playing good right now and are peaking somewhat at the right time. But to say Frankfort has no chance is crazy because that game if they meet is 7 weeks away and those kids should be healthy by then..

Pretty much been reality lately.

Mayfield could compete for any state championship in Kentucky this year, except 6A.

Here we go.

Very funny! Good job ATL.

Here we go.

CoachG is not a Mayfield fan, so, before you go there, understand that..

I don't think their win over Cov cath means much I think by seasons end we'll find out Cov catch was over ranked to begin with. My vote is that Mayfield will be 1A state champs.

This thread.... Started by a Mayfield fan, resurrected by a Mayfield fan 4 years later, responded to by MF fans trying to get a rise out of the BW folks. ... Not a single BW fan is biting.

VORs response sums up my feelings, but I am enjoying the obvious restlessness in the West.

If nobody comments on these threads what's the point of doing this?

Okay maybe the second round is pushing it. But I do see Frankfort not beating Beechwood @ Beechwood this year
