November 12, 201015 yr This is a risk that happens when you go after the best of the best. I am not saying Coach Cal shouldn't go after the best. But when you are recruiting this types of players there is a risk. I have always said if I was a college coach in anything I would win a National title in back to back year, then be placed on the death penalty by the NCAA. I am not sure where I sit on this issue. I do understand over seas life is different so the NCAA should take that into consideration.

According to a source close to the process, about $20,000 of that money was used by the Kanter family to pay for Kanter’ educational expenses—such as schooling and tutors—with the remainder still sitting in an account unused. I don't see the appeals process going well for UK. With it being other schools AD's and athletic directors I don't see them being sympathetic to UK and Cal. I mean Cal isn't liked a lot be it his fault or not and unfortunately these bias will play in to an appeal now.
