I think JC wear CC down with the run game. 28-20 JC.

Are you kidding? CovCath is huge and will dominate up front. Not a chance JC will wear CC down..

Just my opinion of what will happen.

Sounds like the JC that we've all come to know and love.

If JC's secondary struggles with a good passing team, then Cov Cath should win this game. The Colonels completed just about every one of thier attempts against Ashland Blazer this weekend.

Won't comment on if CovCath wins or losses this game but JC will not wear down the CovCath "D". CovCath has faced far too many outstanding running teams and running backs this season to wear down in a playoff game.

To name just a few; Ryle with Hempel and Elliott, NCC and their outstanding trio of runners Kelly, Hichchew and Cain, Beechwood with Vocke, Soctt with Sowder, Dixie with Pike, LexCath with Maddox, St. X with McCurry and of course HHS with Compton and Towles and that without naming a single player from Cin La Salle

So none of those teams was able to wear down CC with the run game?

All come on TOG. You can throw out the "respect" card for JC. We all know that's what's holding back your prediction. Yeah, you will say that you were treated with total respect and all but that won't win them any games. And you still need to get in the box, so you have to bite your tongue and that's cool. But we don't!

Sorry Eagles, but one bad apple(the head apple) does spoil the whole cart. JMO!!!

I think all those teams beat JC.

Sure Ryle did in the season opener with an inexperience 10th grade QB in his first varsity football game at UC Nippert Stadium. That young QB isn't the same kid anymore, as most who have seen the young man grow, will agree with.

Cin La Salle did also, but then again I don't think JC is on the same level as Cin La Salle do you?

To defend TOG. He has said good things about JC whether the Colonels have won or lost down there...........many Highlands propoganda spouters were proclaiming how great JC was in the beginning of the season. Funny how the season tends to water down these flowery thoughts on a weak class 5A.

Oooooookaaayyyy!!!! Don't jump down my throat because of the "other" thread.:thumb::lol::lol::lol:

CovCath WILL win this game. The Blueboys go to the moutains and "Smashmouth" Matney for Woodford Cty. Absoulute disgrace what I witnessed in that video feed.

I'm not. I do wish you would go back to threads about 5A and see what "Highlands" fans said about JC prior to the season, and how playing this team and that team would prepare the Bluebirds for the ground game of the Golden Eagles. Like Boone County, that 6A team that didn't qualify for the playoffs this season.

I know that is not the other thread you are referencing. :D

History is correct, the folks in the press box at JC have been nothing but kind, respectful, and have shown me at least, nothing but true Southern Hospitality over the years!

And there you go.:ohbrother:
