After Nov 2 can anyone be shocked by this.

:rolleyes::lol:

I sure am glad that the US resisted the urge to expand oil drilling here in our own country, both on & off-shore....

Seriously? I hope I am reading this wrong and you aren't trying to blame this on the Rep. Also gas here as been bouncing from $2.80 to $2.60. It has gone up and down for the last 2 months.

Well it's obviously Obama's fault since it was always Bush's fault before. Isn't that right NCF? :sssh::p

I know. This certainly would have made our current gas prices sooooooo much less. :lol:

Yeah, it's the Republicans fault. :lol: Oh, good Lord! :ohbrother:

Not really, as it has been slowly approaching that for a few weeks now.

You sure about that? It was $2.58 in Bardstown two days ago, then jumped to $2.75 yesterday. Fortunately I got gas at one of the stations this morning that had not yet shot up to $2.98.

That's forty cents in two days, and in a town with no Speedway making daily alterations to prices. Ours in Bardstown tend to be very steady. It's been between $2.55 and $2.65 for the last several months, until two days ago.

So what's the real reason it shot up so fast? Did somebody important come up short on a yacht payment?

Gotta be Boehner. :lol:

Last time I filled up, a week and a half ago, it was $2.79.

I'll bet you guys have a Speedway station there mucking things up with their daily price fiddling. With Bardstown, when the price goes up, it's very slowly. By the same token, they're also very slow to raise it.

Until the past couple days.

It is usually cheaper at Richwood Pilot.

It's been hanging between $2.65 and $2.79 for weeks around here; big jump today. I really Republicans don't know Boehner if there is anyone specific Cons to blame or not.

I'm guessing that at least from some can't imagine who members here on BGP, there will be close scrutiny of the progress and contributions made by the newly elected. What's good for the goose, and all that, I suppose. The occasional grinning smiley probably won't be enough in the way of substantive rebuttal to satisfy some.:D

Its always nice to have a Kroger card and to get a $.10 discount at their gas station.

At this point, I'm not really surprised its going up as the holiday season is fast approaching. It happens every year unfortunately and will continue to do so.
