The key for BGPers to note is that this is not only a "draft" but its two years old and was put together by 2 or 3 coaches. It will have many iterations before all is said and done.

It needs some editing to display correctly if any mod wants to take a shot at it.

Did I read this wrong or did I see only 4 teams in each district? Didn't someone say that they will still be 4 teams in the playoffs?

Several districts have more than four teams.

The districts will be either 4 or 5 teams.

Yes, the initial plan is to have 4 teams from each district make the playoffs.

What does it mean draft only and how correct is the list?

Right now the teams are divided by four, this is a breakdown when you divide by six. Of course, a lot can change in a couple of year which makes this a draft only.

This sure would make the rankings a lot more work. :D

Also, I suppose the finals would be played three on Friday and three on Saturday? If the KHSAA goes back to school day football finals there is going to be a lot of crying. All I can say is if the KHSAA starts hearing it on this one they should float the idea of playing the Sweet 16 over two weekends to make up for the lost time. That ought to shut em up!

Absolutely awful; with 6 state champions, I may never go again.

With Beechwood & LCA in 1A, they solved nothing, and Trinity & X are still going to dominate; what is the point?

You know, I think that 4 teams making the playoffs would be awful considering that there are 4 teams in most districts, but I'd be forced to advocate it because with a district like this:

5 A

Region 1

District 1:Bowling Green, Hopkinsville, Madisonville-North Hopkins, Warren Central

Central might not ever make the playoffs if they only took two from a district like that. What with BG beating them nearly every year and that we've only beaten Hoptown once ever.

I would think Highlands would choose to play up one class to join the other local teams.

I can't see them wanting to play in the district they're placed in here.
