It will depend on if they MANDATE playing time for the younger kids; if they keep all the kids having fun and keep the best ones from getting burnt out, they will be on their way!!! If they let a group of overzealous dads play only 13-15 kids so their sons can be the stars and they can win the "championship" every year, NOTHING will change.

I don't know what they have coming into the school in the up coming years. But there past two freshman teams have been blown out by Cov Cath and Highlands.

If Boone County youth football devleoped players the way Ft. Thomas does, how good could Ryle be?? They seem to be making the most of what they get; Cooper is still a work in progress, Conner is very up and down- down now, and Boone continues to slip into the abyss.

I believe Ryle coach Bryson Warner has done an outstanding job as he continues to push this program forward. He continues to set higher goals. He wants his team to play a tougher schedule. He offered to schedule Highlands twice a year, because he wanted to play the best school in northern KY. Highlands has a great program and this is where every high school would like to be as far as championships. He sets the bar high for his kids. Congrats to coach Warner keep driving forward.

Ryle is making steps in the right direction by starting a 7th and 8th grade team and following up next year with a 5th and 6th grade team.

The BCPWFL would not designate senior teams for the four high schools as feeder teams, so we had to start our own programs.

It only matters if the head coach maximizes the talent and gets the most out of the players. I don't see that happening at a 6A school that can't throw the ball proficiently!

What is proficient? Is that 50% completion rate, 65%, 75%?

Yes - they went undefeated in their regular season and lost to Cov Cath in the playoffs.

I think next year Ryle will look like Boone County did this year all run. Elliot is very good but they will have a young QB and they lose their big guys up front and Mace on defense. Elliot will have to carry this team next year.
