Cobb rips UK fans

Featured Replies

I am always positive that my team will win....don't blame the players, blame the defensive coordinator for not making any adjustments till the 2nd half for the last two weeks. Luckily, the clock went to 0:00 while we were ahead this time. I think the only game we lost on the field was against Florida. The other losses I credit elsewhere. Jmo

Wonder what he woud have said back in the day when you could go out at half and tailgate and come back in? He has a chance to go down as one of ther best ever, but he is not making fans with comments like these.

Hopefully this type of thing, ends the ridicule that U of L fan gets when they have less than capacity for a home game.

Why would that end any ridicule?

After what he went through at Red Lobster and watching fans give up on the team and leave games for 3 years now I don't blame him one bit. It always seems like people say they get tired of hearing athletes make up lies and giving cliches as answers but when an athlete says the truth people wish he hadn't said it. Personally, I like truth. I am sure if he wants to tell a recruit how he truly feels about whether that kid should come to UK or not he'll tell that kid the truth.

Cobb is still tweeting also. I think the ban was a joke.

UK's capacity is listed at 67,606

So basically UK averages a sell out?

Not sure what Cobb can complain about

Shut people up with your play, bottom line. If you wanted packed stadiums to play football in every week, there were other options.

Or don't get dominated by a beatable Florida team and a sub-par Ole Miss team.

What exactly was the Red Lobster incident?

I support the Cats 100% and I like football more than I do basketball... however, the majority of UK fans do not. Therefore, opening up 0-3 in conference isnt exactly going to get anybody excited, especially when you expect to get destroyed. Want 70,000 at Commonwealth an hour before kickoff? Dont start out 0-3 in conference and dont be down 28-10 at half.

Sounds like this struck a personal nerve with a few folks here. Maybe the shoe fits and they don't like it.

Or not.

I agree with most of what he said and in a private conversation with a close friend or family member I have no problem with it. I just think you need to be very careful as to what you say on a Social Networking site.
