I think they're sticking with Welker and Tate. And dont' forget. They have a stud rookie TE in Hernandez who could basically be considered a receiver as well.

Sure, he commanded the top corner which would go on someone else, but no catches and an easy win? May have proven something. Yeah they proved that when the defense and special teams score 3 touchdowns the best reciever on the team can not catch a pass and they can still win.

October 6, 201015 yr It seems like Brady tried to force more throws with Moss in the lineup. With him gone, he can go back to the days before Moss when he could spread the ball all over the field and not have a guy who demands touches. So, while they lose the deep threat and the guy who demands that deep coverage, they may end up being tougher to defend with Brady not feeling the need to force the ball to Moss a few times per game. Instead, defenses won't be able to key on anything. I think this is a great move for Minnesota. And, a smart move by New England to get something for a guy who was obviously gone after this season. I also don't think this is a move that signals that the Patriots are giving up on 2010.

Receiver Randy Moss and New England Patriots quarterbacks coach Bill O'Brien were involved in a heated exchange at halftime of the team's victory Monday over the Miami Dolphins, according to player sources. O'Brien calls the plays for the Patriots. I wonder what this could've been about and if talks were in motion before this or did this put the trade talks into hyperdrive. :sssh:
