I do think this gives Brett Favre the option receiving he is lacking. Randy Moss can still get it done. I wonder what the Vikings are willing to part with?

I think this is an awful decision for the Patriots...

I dunno Moss gets into that mode where he doesn't care and there is nothing you can do to make him play.

I think this would make the Vikings the favorite in the NFC if Rice can come back healthy. I know they're struggling but Moss, Favre, All Day, Shaincoe and Rice is almost unfair.

WHAT????

Is the Pats giving up on this year? Do they think they can win a SB without their top weapon?

I think its a bad move for the Patriots, great move for the Vikings, and a great move for Moss.

Let's talk fantasy implications...does this help Moss owners?

I'm not one to doubt Belichick/Patriots but this doesn't seem like a good move. However, he only has 9 catches this year and they've done just fine.

Yeah, but Moss opens up the field so much for the Patriots by just being on the field.

Rather give up a player 1-2 years early than a year late.

They will get draft picks and they are masters of getting the most for the pick.

I agree! He still commands double coverage.

I'm not sure, maybe a lateral move? I like Brady over Farve who I expect to retire for good after this season and stay retired... You have to put in that last part.

But with Vikes run game that may even out...

Moss wants to get paid and the Patriots aren't willing to pay him. I doubt they will find a team as desperate for a WR as the Vikings are right now. While I don't necessarily agree with the Pats doing this deal I can see why they are. I haven't seen anything that says what the Pats would be getting in return but I'd bet it's draft picks as the Vikes are willing to mortgage their future for what seems to be Favre's last year.
