What were his numbers in the second half of that game after New England got very basic on D?

1st half: 12/19, 130 Yards

2nd half: 22/31, 215 Yards, 2 TD

I'm not a huge CP fan. He's not an elite QB any more but... IMO Chad slowed down once he got open and CP led him. I don't think it was a terrible throw. Also he hit TO in hte corner of the end zone with a great pass that was dropped. Chad had another drop and I believe Gresham had a drop.

Chad had a drop that would've resulted in a BIG gain, potentially a 70+ yard TD. It was over the middle, and it was a great throw by CP. Solid defense, but the ball hit #85 in the hands. If he caught it, he was off to the races.

 

There's no doubt that Carson misses some throws that he should make. But I'm not a fan of the way so many fans have jumped all over him. He struggled late last year with an injured left hand, but he was throwing seeds everywhere in Week 1. I'll give him a pass against a tough divisional opponent today.

Give it two more games or one month of football to see how in sync they are. Palmer isn't the most accurate QB in the league but he is doing enough for them to win right now.

My roommate was at the game and said he saw them bickering at each other at one point but the next possession was his biggest catch and run of the day.

The defense and STs got the job done to day. It wasn't pretty but I'll take a win any day of the year. The lack of pass rush is still a major concern, luckily the back seven played lights out today. The return by Scott was huge.

Last year his completion percentage was actually below his rookie year completion percentage which was his career worst, minus 08/09 injury year. I think he will get back on track this year but i'll never view him as one of the most accurate ever. He's efficient though.

Probably, but it was still a really good thrown and it could have been caught even with the bump.

They are at Carolina next week right? If they can't get a win against the Panthers, they should kiss their hopes of the playoffs goodbye.
