No doubt. I did agree with Golic. Why is he mad at QB's? They didn't make the rule.

There is a BIG difference from being the most accurate and being a winner! Short little dump off passes and screens will help your accuracy, but let's face it in the NFL it is all about wins and Carson has led the Bengals to zero playoff wins.

 

Ken Anderson used to be very accurate too, because he threw screens every other play. The bottom line is I would rather have an accurate passer that can also complete some passes vertically too.

Good win for the Bengals. Being 0-2 with a difficult schedule ahead would have been a tough task to undertake. Carolina is bad so 2-1 will be a good start.

 

I thought the Ravens got a raw deal with their scheduling. Tough emotional game on a Monday night at NY, then have to turn around on short notice to the division winner. They nearly pulled it off though.

They weren't "bickering", they were trying to get on the same page...I love how anytime TO and his QB have a conversation on the sidelines, it's "bickering".

Ray was complaining about the tripping call and the late hit on the QB call. Basically, he was saying that QB's are babies that make all the money and are afraid to get hit. I was at the game, and saw it on replay. It's a rule that he violated. Being blocked does not cause you to whip your legs around while spinning

on the ground. It doesn't matter if it was intentional (although there no doubt in my mind that it was). If an O lineman did it on a block to a DL it

would've been called. There's not a QB in the league that whines as much as Lewis, he seems to complain about every call. He needs to realize

that when the Ravens constantly make late hits, often away from the ball, or impose their "toughness" with borderline unsportsmanlike conduct hits, calls will go against them through the course of a game. I think Suggs' roughing call on CP was wrong; however, I watched him taking some

cheap shots all day, and I think it caught up with him.

The tripping and late hit calls were both bad calls but you also need to factor in that TO may have been a victim of PI in the endzone and nothing was called there.

So Crash, are you suggesting that tripping should never be called or it was a bad call because Lewis didn't mean to do it? Watch the replay, Lewis had one leg in the air, and the other foot was extended with his toe out; it was intentional. It doesn't matter that Lewis didn't know where the QB was or if it was intentional or not, it directly led to the 'tackle'.

I like everything about Ray, love his attitude and the intensity he plays with...

Whether the trip on Ray Lewis was intentional or not, you gotta call it. I'm sure lineup never intentionally go offsides or have a false start. As for the late hit, bad call, but as others have mentioned so was the no-call on the pass interference in the endzone.

I HATE every other team in the AFC North(see my name), but those calls were terrible. If they were called on the Bengals then everyone would be going crazy. I'm glad they went our way though.

It's always interesting to sit in a seat like that. You see the game a whole different way. Kinda stinks when they are at the other end though.
