September 19, 201015 yr Adam Jones did something to his shoulder I believe when he laid a huge block after an interception.
September 19, 201015 yr The offense better thank the defense for carrying their sorry butts. The offense is full of idiots who commit stupid penalties and make dumb mistakes, its no wonder their execution is crap. Eventually someone needs to be held accountable for it, heres looking at you Bratkowski.
September 19, 201015 yr Had end zone seats. Not great, but you do get a perspective on what is downfield for the QBs. Palmer was not seeing the field very well. He missed some wide open guys throughout the game.

Palmer lost track of the play clock numerous times.

I don't know how you can say he lost track of the play clock when they didn't have a delay of game? However the offensive side of the ball does need work. Palmer missed some throws, receivers missed come balls, pressure up the middle, receivers running short of the markers, and well the Brat being predicatable as always. Palmer and TO need to get their timing down on the long ball, because it was there a few times today. They need to let Gresham go down field in the middle more, like most teams do with their TE's. However I am very happy with the win today. This is what good football teams do. Sometimes one side of the ball is not playing well, so the other side has to step it up. The defense did that today. The offense came alive after the 1st Quarter against the Pats, and the defense played great today. Hopefully now they can get both offense and defense playing well at the same time!
September 19, 201015 yr I am pumped though, because even though we need work on somethings. We just beat one of the better teams in the NFL today, and we all said we needed to be at least 1 and 1 after the first two games, and that is what are! WHO DEY!
September 20, 201015 yr I don't know how you can say he lost track of the play clock when they didn't have a delay of game? He was bailed out by a timeout from the sideline once. The crowd was very antsy. The crowd booed in the 2nd quarter when we ran the ball on 3rd down with less than a minute on the clock. Some of the fans are just completely clueless. The guy next to me told me that he wished we had Shayne Graham because he could knock down the FG from "there". "There" was the 40 yard line.
September 20, 201015 yr This was an absolutely huge win today. Say what you want...that it was ugly, that the offense stunk, whatever. The facts of the matter are that we just beat a division rival who was looking to go 2-0. Bengals have won 8 straight division games.
September 20, 201015 yr Palmer would have had monster numbers if his receivers didn't drop passes and quit running routes. He didn't play well at all and he still could have been huge. This game was simply a case again of a team that knew they weren't going to be scored on. Their D owned Baltimore.
September 20, 201015 yr Huber had some decent punts today, but I would NEVER call his performance today "great". He had a 15 yard punt from the 44 yard line for crying out loud. Nugent had a few touchbacks. That's a nice addition, considering Graham typically sent it to the 10 yard line.
September 20, 201015 yr I said it last week and I'll say it again. Carson Palmer just isn't a very good NFL QB. He'll hit people on short patterns, but other than that I wouldn't expect much out of him.
September 20, 201015 yr Would anyone rather have Flacco than Palmer? Flacco is awful. Flacco looked horrible today. Their best offense, outside of Ray Rice, was when Flacco used his legs.

He'll hit people on short patterns, but other than that I wouldn't expect much out of him. A lot is being made of Carson's errant throw to #85 in the back of the end zone when the defender had slipped. What they're not saying is how Carson got rocked on the throw. Carson was 34 for 50 with 345 yards in Week 1....

He missed some wide open guys throughout the game. It's always interesting to sit in a seat like that. You see the game a whole different way. Kinda stinks when they are at the other end though.
