Hard to believe Henry's whining about that little trip of her own, isn't it.

I go to a game every Friday night , Last week my team was off so I drove up to Knox County and watched the Bell/Knox game.

Find the closest best game and go to that although the brownie point thing may be in my best interest. By the way Henry isn't Johnson Central on the way to White Sulpher Springs WV. Sounds like a good place for the girls to make a pit stop.

I'm taking Louisville Eastern, Dixie, and '09 Cincy St. X game, it goes everywhere with me.

I take the week off and take the kids to Lambert's Cafe in Sikeston and watch them catch rolls all night

Highlands bye is October 8th. In years past, I've usually gone with some buddies to watch a likely playoff opponent play. Drove to Bowling Green one year and drove to Paintsville to watch Johnson Central play a couple of times. This year, I'm heading to Ashland to watch the Tom Cats take on Johnson Central, although it would be fun attending the Ft. Thomas Junior Football League games that night at DCM under the lights (which I'd encourage all Highlands fans attend in order to support the young ones playing if you are going to be in town. The kids will have to get a kick out of playing under the lights on Highlands field).

 

What do others do when your football team has a bye?

 

I like the Ashland idea, but I already committed to the Campbell County/Conner game. I usually go see Campbell or NewCath, or even Brossart on occasion.

BTW, I consider Boone County and Scott bye weeks for Highlands, so I'll be elsewhere for those games until further notice.

During our bye week I stay home, listen to local games on the radio and look at BGP all night.

Pick a place we've never been that is hosting what should be a good game and make a visit. This season's bye week found us watching Johnson Central at Bell County.
