This will be my first game at Papa John's. Any secrets I need to know?

Park at the fair grounds.

Get in early for "Happy Hour" at the consession and adult beverage stands.

If you want to tailgate walk around in the green lot the UofL fans will give you a hard time, but we will feed you well.

I am not as optimistic as some that UK is going to be all that wonderful. UL will be improved, but not sure how much this season. I am looking to watch two bad teams just like last season. I feel like UL will win for whatever reason.

Agreed. UL by a field goal.

UofL will not win this game. The simple fact is UK has won the last 4 and are again the better team this year. Mind you the better team between the two. Anything can happen in one game, especially in a rivalry game. It appears to me that UofL is destined for a last place finish in the Big East and UK will again finish a little over .500 and no where near contention for the SEC title.

UK has only won the last 3, not the last 4.

I too think he was overdue for a hire 100%. I will put Joker and his staff up against Strong and his staff in recruiting though as I think they are very even. Wasn't Joker on Holtz's staff too at South Carolina or do I have my years mixed up? Also coached at Notre Dame - can't remember who was HC there either - and that always helps. I don't disagree with your statements, I just think they are very even right now. As a UK fan, I was really hoping ol' Steve was still at the Ville.

He was under Holtz at SC I believe. Oddly enough, the years Strong left ND and SC, Joker came on the the staff the following season. I just think Strong being a Coordinator for twice the amount of years as Joker and having lead two championship defenses has to count for something.

I really wish I could agree with this. I think UK wins but I will stop about 100 miles short of guaranteeing it. For all I know Joker could live up to his name and be an awful coach.

UK-34 UL-21 Cats wear down the small and thin UL defense in the second half with the running game and Hartline gets the ball to the play makers and does not make and big mistakes.

I think the UK defensive line without Mister Cobble will struggle as compared with years past. I think UL comes out in spread but runs more effectively than the last 2 seasons. It will be a field position game and UL prevails at home. 23-21.

Compare the two (just my thoughts)

QB position - Draw - Still remains to be seen what Froman can do.

RB position - UL (because the have 2 in Anderson & Powell) UK has some young talent

WR - Kentucky - Cobb is a play maker

OL - UL returns a solid group

D-Line - UK - they have more depth

LB - Draw (UK could have a slight edge)

DB - Kentucky

Specail Teams - Kentucky

I'm pickin the home team...23-20 in OT, now don't laugh I picked the SEC WEST/SECCG/BCSCG winner last year. :jump:

Thanks for the tidbits!

We are going with a couple of UofL season ticket holders so I'm sure they'll help us out as well.

UK will have a huge edge in talent and depth entering this game and anyone who thinks other wise is not being realistic.Giving the 3 points is a lock.

I like the Cats giving the 3 as well. Cats 35-17.

I hope Uk wins, but I just feel this is going to be Louisville's year to beat the Cats.
