Kentucky Basketball 2010-11 Schedule Released

Interesting that ESPN is carrying the IU game and not CBS?

That may show how far Indiana has fallen. Kentucky is about as hot as anything in college basketball right now and CBS won't show the IU game.

Not super excited about too many of the home games. They could have waited a year to jack the prices up.

:D

K-Fund tickets increased 370% for the chance to see East Tennessee State, Boston, Indiana, Miss. Valley State, Winthrop, Coppin State, and Penn at Rupp Arena. I guess it's a good thing UK doesn't have to rely on the RPI to make the tournament.

I have 2 student season basketball tickets for winning a contest so I'm rather excited this year to be going to Rupp as I've only been able to do it once since I've been at UK. Looking foward to a great season!

I hate UK, but have to admit they have a ton of talent again this year.

I don't know abut that - does Jerry Rice have any eligibility left? I might pay to watch him play.

No SEC games at home this year? That will be tough.:D:p

I'd be a little ticked if I were the K-fund people too. And the SEC West teams coming to Rupp aren't that great. I don't understand why UK can't get 1-2 home and homes with quality opponents and run them on a cycle. It looks like SEC basketball teams are starting to take a page out of SEC football scheduling handbook.

I wish the North Carolina and Louisville series weren't the same location every year. For instance last year they both came to Rupp (good) while this year UK goes to both (bad). It seems like UK should travel to one and host the other every season. That would make a better balance for ticket holders.

I've always campaigned for a rotating type home and home with bordering states such as Illinois, Ohio State, West Virginia, and even Virginia.

A lot of people complain about pricing and opponents but very few don't renew their tickets.

I think it is more the Book of "K". Duke has shown that neutral site games are big draws and probably help your team come tourny time than tough road games.

UK has just as difficult of a schedule as anyone else in the country (non-conference). Teams in BCS conferences all schedule similarly.
