Are You a Coffee Drinker?

Featured Replies

I said that if I could make it all through college and my job for the last year without ever drinking coffee, then I never would. I'm not sure that I will be able to hold out much longer.

I never had a drop of coffee all through college and work. Flash forward to my 3rd child being 8 weeks old, 3 kids under 4 years old at home. I started drinking coffee to get through the day and now I drink 2 cups every morning and I love it! I don't know how I survived without it!

Can't stand it...

I didn't drink coffee until two years ago. I was drinking two Diet Cokes a day and didn't like the feeling. Coffee is the way to go. I don't trust 5 hour energy.

I am afraid to get started on it because I feel I will become addicted to it. It kills me to watch people drink multiple pots of coffee a day.

I didn't until I had a kid and all the stuff you have to do plus sleepless nights made a cup or two in the morning a necessity.

It kills you? Why? Are they breathing on you? Coffee breath can be kind of nasty.eerst-een-bakkie.gif

I used to live on the stuff, but I'm down to 2 or 3 cups a day. More, if I short sleep. I try not to drink it after 4 PM now.

That's sort of how I am as well. I really don't want to get started on it and have to rely on it, because I'm sure that I will.

The wife never liked it, so I never drank it at home. A couple of cups a day at work for several years, now back to none at all.

2-4 cups a day

Recently switched from sugar to Sweet & Low. Doesn't taste the same, but has to be better for me than the 6-8 packets of sugar(per cup). I only use 2 packets of Sweet & Low.

Does the spoon stand up... Yikes!!!:scared:

2 cups a day for me. I started when my kids were young and I was working a swing shift too. A splash of Splenda and I'm good. Kinda goes with the morning paper too.

Never drank it because I didn't want the dependency...even though I was diagnosed with insomnia as a 17 year old. Somewhere around my senior year of college I started drinking it out of necessity though, because I was working a fulltime job, going to night class 5 days a week, then doing homework between the hours of 10pm and 2 or 3am - and then going back to my job in the morning. (I pretty much hated life my senior year.)

I've managed to keep myself regulated, though. One mug of coffee every morning, black. No more, no less. I might have an iced tea or two (or hot tea depending on the time of year) in the afternoon if I'm really low on sleep.

Only when I'm in India. That's some strong coffee over there.

Can't stand it...

Same here!
