Are You a Coffee Drinker?

Coffee - Black

Quite often I get a choc/banana Vivanno with a shot of espresso.

I drink Sugar Free Red Bull religiously. But I try to limit the Red Bull to weekends and Mondays. I don't like ANY other energy drink though.

I'm happy to say that I have now given up daily caffeine intake. I actually rarely use it at all except for on long runs and during races as the Gu I like has caffeine in it as does some of the electrolytes I take.

In case you are wondering...yes, it really sucked to give it up.

Quitter.

Quitter.
I am really falling apart. Quit both nicotine and caffeine in the last year and a half. I'll tell you one thing though, they will have to pry my bourbon away from my cold, dead, hands.

I love coffee. Year round. Winter, spring, summer, or fall. Hot weather or cold weather. I'm typically a pot a day person.

Congrats on the cigarettes. I smoked for 20 years. Quit 13 years ago. Best thing I ever did. I do still smoke a good cigar though.

Thanks. Mine was actually dip (I quit smoking a while back) but I agree on the best thing I ever did.

It is odd because virtually everyone in the triathlon/endurance field drinks coffee or take in some form of caffeine but I do not... at least in the form of coffee or soda. My buddy who I train with does not drink coffee either, but he will drink coke if we are out a long time.

I started drinking coffee at work last year. I'm at 2 cups a day right now. I'll be at 3-4 when I go back to work in the summer.

My roommate bought a Keurig and I love the convenience. K-cups are a little expensive, but the coffee tastes great. I add a couple spoonfuls of sugar and some French Vanilla creamer. Mmmmmm... Going to go make a cup right now.

Same here.

Gels or is there something else you take?

Coffee is definitely the best smelling and worst tasting beverage on the planet.

I don't understand how people drink coffee black. Without sugar or cream it seriously tastes like water and dirt.

I drink mine black.

I used to drink it with nothing but after I started my diet and weight loss program I started adding Splenda to satisfy my sweet tooth. When it's warm I drink 2 cups in the morning then move to diet soda. When it's cold I may drink 2 pots in a day and another at night.

I think coffee tastes good. I don't drink the instant stuff, though.
