July 10, 201016 yr I know this is after the game but did Dusty really let Leake give up 4 runs in the 9th? That he started the inning is fine, but after two or three batters reached base on a guy that's supposed to be not pitching as many innings as possible I really need to be convinced that loss isn't on the manager. Good luck the next two days.
July 10, 201016 yr No way you don't have a lefty ready to face Dodds. Dusty plus Cordero just blows to many games for a contender. Here's a two for one trade that would make the Reds better: Coco and Dusty to the Rockies for Jim Tracy.
July 10, 201016 yr The BGP'sters posting throughout the 9th inning (myself included) screaming for Dusty to go with Rhodes rather than Cordero appeared wise and prophetic as Coco blew what was left of the lead.....until Dusty put Rhodes into the game in the 10th. Maybe the Cowboy can suit up for the rest of the weekend.
July 10, 201016 yr The Reds will lose the next two games, and go into the break tied with the Cardinals. The Reds will then back from the break, and lose two out of 3 to the Rockies at home. By the trade deadline the Reds will be sellers.

However, two more losses to the Phils and a bad series against the Rockies could turn things very negative, very quickly.

I would almost believe that if St. Louis was any good, but they aren't, as of now.
July 11, 201016 yr Paul Keels kept dancing around a certain topic for the last inning or so....he just couldn't help himself as they went to commercial after the bottom of the 7th.
July 11, 201016 yr Besides the fact that Hanigan can't make contact with a man on third less than 2 outs, I don't find anything else to post about
July 11, 201016 yr Brandon was very nonchalent about the catch. He's that way about everything. He is one of the best, if not the best, defensive second basemen in the game so just let him do his thing lol
