I'm really starting to get the feel this whole free agency season is going to be a HUGE letdown. I could see only 1-2 guys moving.

 

I honestly hope that it is, then ESPN will realize how dumb they are for how much coverage they have been giving to it for the last year and a half lol.

If the big guys stay put I could see someone grossly overpaying to get Pierce.

 

If Pierce leaves Boston after Rivers comes back and says, "I want one more chance to win with this group", then Pierce moves up to number 4 on my most hated list. I'll be very very surprised if Pierce goes elsewhere. Like Dirk.

However I do reserve the right to root for the Bulls if LBJ signs there, they are actually close enough to make a few games a year at.

I hope it is a letdown. I hope that the Heat, Knicks, Nets, and Bulls don't get anyone because it's been garbage how they have sold their souls trying to get LeBron James and others to come there. The Heat have 2 players on their roster!!! That shouldn't even be allowed IMO.

 

Let James, Wade, Amare, Joe Johnson stay home. Bosh can come to the Cavs. Boozer can go to the Heat I guess. Lee can leave the Knicks for a real NBA team.

Some people, especially in NY are actually fans of the team rather than the players. If the team sucks, they want it to be better but they still can support them. But if the ownership is purposefully trying to lose what do you do then? What if no one went to the games?

The max Gay can get is actually around 13 mil. Still too much for his services at this point in time IMO, he should get around 8-10, BUT, the Grizz had to do what they had to do to keep him around.

 

Joe Johnson definitely not worth a max deal for the Hawks, or for anybody. Crawford played very well for the Hawks this year, not sure why they were so worried about Johnson. The way they are built I'm not sure they can get much further than they already have, I was thinking they may have wanted to part ways and start fresh. So much for that.
