I agree, just saying I could see them being a good young team that surprises some people in a year or two. Never know, Beasley may turn into that break out player, there was a lot of similarities in what the two did in college (him and Durant). Unless Beasley's work ethic changes though that would never happen. Plus, Durant is showing he is one of the best players in the league, I don't think they have that guy in Minnesota. Flynn I think is going to be a great point guard in this league for years to come. Watching a lot of these guys live at the McDonalds AA game a few years back, he was actually the most impressive in person (same class as Rose, Mayo, Beasley, Patterson, Love, Griffin, Gordon, etc.). Just a freak for his size. Plus, Ricky Rubio might end up on their roster in a year or two, so you never know. I just think they have enough young, talented players right now to really grow to be a good team.

I'm still holding out optimism that Beasley may blossom into a promising NBA player. He has the talent, he just needs to get his work ethic in line and slow down on smoking the green. Getting out of Miami is probably the best thing that could happen to his career right now.

I really like Flynn. I like Rubio better but I think they should move him now while his value is kind of high. Maybe for a lottery pick this up coming year? Flynn, Love, Johnson, and two good picks next year would be a nice team going forward.

Barnes is a very good pickup for the Lakers. Another guy who can guard LeBron or Wade, or Pierce.

Barnes is a great sign for the Lakers. This has to be the best defensive team in the league by far. Kobe, Barnes, and Artest are all physical defenders who can shutdown a lot of elite scorers. Not to mention the length they have with Bynum, Odom, and Gasol, they'll be hard to score against next year.

Have won back to back titles, but have replaced guys like Farmar and Brown who plaIyed big parts in those titles. With D Fish getting older by the day, I assumed Farmar was the PG of the future for the Lakers. Always played good minutes and was an LA, UCLA kid. Don't think Blake is an upgrade over him. Barnes is a good sign from the defensive end, but lacks the athletic explosiveness Brown was giving them off the bench on the offensive end.

Your completely missing my point man. Minny traded Jefferson because they want Love to play the 4. They do not think he can play the 5 at all. They really, really like Love, after all they are sending away a guy who can get 20 and 10 a night. Love is a double-double machine, they love him, and I see no way he plays with Beasley.

Especially as the season goes on. I bet they do try them both out together and I can't say that I blame them. I just dont' see it lasting. Love is a bad Center, and Beasley is just plain bad.
