July 6, 201016 yr They should have traded for Amare last year. If they trade Varejao and Hickson they won't be good enough to win the title. Sitting Hickson was dumb. I think its a big reason they no longer have the same coach. I agree, I thought that was the move, or lack of move that would push Lebron out of Cleveland. They had the chance to get him that upper echelon helper, but opted for Jamison and his 13 mil contract instead. Jamison who is also 34 years old. Then the main hold up on the deal, Hickson, doesn't even get used when it matters most. Just didn't understand it, and thought for sure Lebron was going to be gone, but it is looking like he wants to stick around. As for Mike Brown, I agree, but I really think the main reason is they wanted to shake it up a little to try and hold on to Bron. IMO Brown done what he could with what he had and winning two regular season titles was pretty impressive and not something you think you would get fired for. His firing I think was in most part to do something to catch James' eye.

July 7, 201016 yr Without a championship he will never touch the status of the guys you mentioned in the prior paragraph. Fair or not, it is the truth. Do I care? I'm a fan and he doesn't have to pass any of those guys historically for me. I like watching him play basketball, I think he is the most unique player in NBA history because of his size, strength, athleticism and natural ability. As long as he doesn't become a sell-out that is good enough for me.
