July 6, 201016 yr Unless someone offers an All Star team for Paul, he won't get traded. I know owners can/will say one thing and do another, but it was reported that Paul is staying and will be consulted on any free agent moves and so forth. I don't know much about the Hornets roster, but when he doesn't play, they don't win. He's not CP3 but Darren Collison put up some real nice numbers when Paul was injured this season.

I do think that Parker in a Euro system is interesting. The only thing is that Parker has never averaged 7 assist per game, so who knows if he's a good enough passer for Stat to do well.:thumb:

We'll see if he can change his mind since the Raptors say they will not send him to Miami. The longer it drags out the more I like Cleveland's chances. Sure it's a dump, but could Bosh really turn down 30 million and the chance to play with LeBron?

July 6, 201016 yr I know Lebron loves Cleveland, and it is a priority for him to win a championship in Cleveland but IMO his best opportunities lie elsewhere. He's a north Ohio kid, who loves representing the same place he is from. That is his people and he wants to give them Championships. It's the only place he has known as a home, and he loves it there. BUT, if you really think about it, how can Cleveland re work their roster right now and set him up in a better situation than some of these places? Chicago would be ultra promising with the likes of Bosh or even a Boozer. Even NJ doesn't look horrible in the long run with all the young players, and with the addition of James and perhaps one more either this year or next. The longer this goes on the more I think my initial instinct is going to prevail and that he is going to stay in Cleveland. I just don't know how or if he honestly believes it gives him the best opportunity to win multiple rings.
July 6, 201016 yr Cavs would have to send Varejo in any kind of sign and trade. Who else would they have to pair with Varejo? Have a hard time believing Toronto would do it just for him and maybe a Mo Williams/JJ Hickson or even a Delonte West. Without the lack of a star studded type guy it would seem Cleveland would have to send multiple guys, many of which would perhaps take away from next years squad if they were to aquire Bosh. As we have seen with Lebron though, he carries a lot of the weight on his shoulders anyway so with Bosh he may not need much more. But just because Toronto says they will do a s/t with Cleveland doesn't mean they will do it for cheap. Of course this is just all chatter on my part, and more than likely much ado about nothing. I think Bosh has already found his running mate in D Wade, and if those two happen to team up in Chicago then that could be the demise of Lebron in Cleveland.
July 6, 201016 yr Cleveland can not win, it's simple as that. No one wants to play in Cleveland when they have the opportunity to play in larger markets. That's why Lebron can't find a running mate, because no one wants to play in that city. Amare and New York Dwade to either Miami or Chicago Bosh is same as above Look at those cities, all are larger markets than what Cleveland is and all have better professional sports markets in general.
